This week's blog is about Reiki energy healing ... I am about to teach the next Reiki Level One course and lots of people have asked me ... "What's in it for me Pip?" ... and ... "Why would I bother learning how to do Reiki for myself when I can come to see you instead?" Good questions.
And I say to you ... there are SO many reasons ... taking care of yourself, reducing your own pain, helping you and your kids sleep, learning how to tap into your intuition, reducing your medical bills and many more ...
So, I thought maybe it would help if I get some of my Reiki Level One students to answer these questions:

This week's blog is about lifting yourself up when you feel low.
How do you do it?
How do you find the joy when you are feeling sad? or angry? or afraid?
How do you reach for a better feeling?
I use a combination of things ... maybe you will find this list helpful.
* Watch a cartoon - 'Tangled' and 'Moana' are my favourites
* Ride my bike around the island
* Rollerskate on my verandah - this is hilarious (for the neighbours)
* Call my sisters for a chat, vent and a good laugh
* Put the Jason Derulo album loudly on my ipod and DANCE!
* Listen to Hay House Radio (free app) to my inspirational mentors.
* Swing on the swings at the park!
* Meditate with my favourite CD.
The most important thing to know is that you CANNOT be joyful with a snap of your fingers. Because when you are on the depressed radio station you are not dialled in to joy.
All you can do is reach for a better feeling state.
Find something to do or think that makes you feel better.
Meditate, Sing, Dance, Ride, Play, Hum, Have sex ... whatever you can think of.
DO ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN TO FEEL BETTER.
Truth is you can shift your state in just 3 minutes!!!

This is my first blog of 2018 ... and let me just say it's not been all rainbows and magic ... as with life, it can be blaaaaaaaahhhh ... and meeeehhhhhhh .... and then OMG!
I mean - let me explain - so far this year, I have had to use ALL my skills and tools to stay on track ... and to achieve my goal = to FEEL GOOD!
Tapping for anxiety in the morning.
Hay House Radio inspiration while I walk to the beach.
Chakra clearing meditation at lunch time.
Yoga stretches while I watch 'Will & Grace'.
Tapping to release any worries from the day in the evening.
Subliminal 'Sleep peacefully' CD while I sleep.
Yes, there is a very clear theme.
All my mentors have been saying this for years.
Find the good feeling and follow it to lead you to your best life.
I am REALLY getting this concept now.
I am starting a new phase in my life. A new phase in my business.
If you have ever started something new, you will know those feelings of uncertainty are normal. And you will also know that if you don't keep your monkey mind under control - it will lead you down the garden path and into the jungle of fear. Your mind plays tricks on you.
The way to overcome this monkey-mind-trickery (in my experience) is to focus on your feelings ... not your thoughts.
Trust your heart ... not your mind. Yes!
I have been teaching people how to create their desires, trust their intuition and the art of staying in the flow of life - and it's only when you have to apply the techniques to your own situation that it fully resonates.
The wonderful thing is that now the energy is shifting and clients are calling and classes are filling up ... and I am feeling joy and relief for this confirmation that these 'feeling good' techniques really DO help the Universe to bring me what I desire.
