This week's blog is about fear ...
Everyone at one time or another can relate to that feeling of being afraid and not being able to take action. Fear of success. Fear of failure. Fear of people not liking you. Fear of people liking you too much. Fear of rejection. Fear of not being worthy. Fear of flying. Fear of falling.
So, what is fear holding you back from doing? …
Do you want to change your job? Do you want to leave your relationship? Do you want to start your own business? Do you want to lose weight? Do you want to study a course at college or university?
All these desires have probably come from a place deep in your heart. You may not have told anyone about them. You may not even have admitted you desire them to yourself.
The question is not … Do you really want to achieve your goals?
Of course, you do!
The question is … What is stopping you?
Why have you not done it already?
Usually we have not done it yet because we have scared ourselves out of taking action.
The word fear can be re-framed as: F.E.A.R = False Evidence Appearing Real …. in other words, you are creating or visualising a scenario in your mind about the future that feels ‘real’ and so you get the same sensations in your body that you would if you were actually in danger right now.
Wow! … seriously … how powerful is your mind!!
Did you know that your body doesn’t know the difference between an imagined or real situation?
I mean … you can literally change the sensations in your body just by THINKING about something scary.
So, what if you THOUGHT about something good or happy or exciting? Well you’d feel better. And from that space I propose that you’d get very different results in your life!
To take action and move towards your goals you need to practise shifting your state. Staying frozen in panic is not a healthy or fun way to live your life.
My suggestion for this week (or month, if you want to challenge yourself) is to practise changing the sensations in your body with your mind. You only need to stay in the new state for 2-3 minutes to make a significant shift.
You have the power to shift your focus, improve your mood and achieve your desires … take back your power. You are the master of your mind, not the victim. Let me know how you go.
This weeks blog is about asking the question: Where are you censoring yourself?
Telling the truth - What does that really mean? How do you know when you are not?
Well ... do you feel tired, resentful, sick ... ?
Then you are probably not being truthful.
When you are not honouring your true feelings it causes a mis-alignment or dis-ease in your energy and your body.
Saying yes when you mean yes ... Kris Carr says that when we learn how to distinguish between a full body YES and a HELL NO ... then we can be truly authentic in our answers to requests. Listen to your body.
Saying no when you mean no ... Cheryl Richardson says that it is important to give yourself space before answering a request and then if the answer is not a definite 'Yes' ... then it is a 'No' ... we need to learn how to say it gracefully and with love ... this begins the practice of disappointing another to be loving to yourself.
As I am writing my book about my experiences working on board cruise ships, I’m being asked to step up and be honest.
My scratchy throat ... is my physical indication that I am not speaking up about something in my life. It's not a cold or the flu coming on - as I once thought. Because as soon as I identify what it is that I need to say (to myself or another person), the scratchy throat goes away.
I’m being pushed to really express my fears, my desires, my heartbreak and my joys.
It was going to be book of fictional stories but I felt guided to write it with integrity as a biography. And I realised that if this book is to be a truly authentic account, I need to share fully - no censoring. It is confronting and liberating.
I’m healing old wounds, I’m learning and growing ... I feel like I’m being more ME now.
How can you apply this to your life?
First question to ask is:
Where are you censoring yourself?
Let me know if I can help you.
Blessings and love
This week's blog is about the three 'g's that I value in my life ...
GRATITUDE, GENEROSITY and GIGGLES.
In the last week these I've realised that these three g's guide my life.
1. Gratitude - I've been doing a wonderful free meditation with Louise Hay (every morning and evening) and she has reminded me how important it is to say 'thank you' ... being grateful for what you already have puts you in a much better state than complaining about what you don't have. It makes you feel 100% better.
I mean you sometime do feel better when you complain - but you're coming at it from a skewed perspective. That is ... "the more I complain - the more my current feeling bad situation is justified - and other people agree with me - so I feel better."
The Law of Attraction states that we attract what we put out. So the more you are thankful, the more you will attract things to be thankful for.
Does that make sense?
2. Generosity - I like to think of generosity as not just giving but also receiving. When you give a gift to someone you feel good right? So in giving something you also receive. Right? This weekend I invited my sister to come and stay with me on the island. She didn't have a lot of cash available so I said I'd pay for her petrol. She said 'yes please!'
We had such a nice time. I got the gifts of her company and great conversation and she got her petrol money, plus I decided to pay for her dinner on Saturday and coffee on Sunday morning too. It gave me such a wonderful feeling of joy to give her these gifts. It was an even exchange of energy in my eyes. Felt very blessed.
3. Giggles - Anyone who knows me well, will tell you that I am always up for a laugh. A funny movie, a well-told story, a live comedian, or a Facebook video of a silly situation. As a self-confessed Leprechaun, I also like a deep and meaningful conversation, but that trickster side will keep it light too.
If you are ever feeling a bit 'meh' and need a pick me up ... get yourself a funny DVD (doesn't have to be expensive - you can borrow them from the library), go to the movies, or ring your friend who makes you laugh.
Laughter is scientifically proven to increase the happy hormones in your brain and improve your health. You can even do a Laughter Yoga Class - hilarious!! Super-fun!! You have not giggled like this - you will laugh like a snake or a frog or have a 'laughing-tantrum' ... It's an amazing release.
I encourage you to explore the three g's this week.
Start a gratitute list - write down the things you are grateful for.
Give and receive with abandon.
And giggle A LOT ... it's a must.
Blessings to you

This week's blog is about ... following your inspirations ...
I've been teaching people how to follow their heart's desire and trust their intuition for the past 12 years and yet it still sometimes surprises me when my advice works. *laugh*
I recently did an Angel Card Reading for a lady and she wanted to know about her life's purpose. It's a common question. And a big one.
What are we here for? What is it all about? Why?
And I gave her three (3) tips that have helped me in the past ...
1. Every day, when you are reading a magazine, book, paper or looking at a community notice board, take particular note of the things that you get excited or inspired by. Circle the adverts on the page. Take the tab off the flyer. Rip out the page in the magazine. And start to create a collection of fun, inspiring things that you might like to do.
2. Look at that collection of inspiring things to do and start to talk about some of them to family, friends, shop keepers, and even strangers in cafes ... and see what happens.
3. Trust your intuition. When you follow the inspiration the most amazing things start to happen.
Example #1: When I told my client to try this, she went out and started collecting treasures. And one day she was guided to go to a gathering on Churchill Island. While she was at the gathering she started to talk to a man in the group and during their conversation he told her how he loved to sing. She said 'I love to sing too. Where do you sing on Phillip Island?' And he told her about some groups that he sang with. He also gave her the name and number of a lady who 'knows everything' that happens in the area. She was delighted because she had been looking for a singing group to join and didn't know where to find them.
Example #2: I have had a similar experience recently. I have been getting thoughts, feelings and hunches from my guides to do more writing. Finish and publish my book. Be more creative. But I was not really listening to this because none of those things make money ... and I really thought I needed to be focusing on making money. But the feelings persisted and my guides insisted this was the way to go. One day I felt tired, stressed and unbalanced. So I went for a Bowen therapy session and my therapist suggested that I write editorial articles for the newspaper or the Vibe magazine. This idea felt good so I figured it was worth asking about.
I called the Vibe magazine and asked if they'd be interested in me writing some health, well-being, personal development articles. She said 'Yes!' and was very excited. 'A space has just opened up for 2018 and I wasn't sure who was best to fill it. You would be the perfect person. Do you want to do a monthly column?' I was delighted. This was great - I will be writing and creating money. Win/Win.
Why not try these three (3) steps yourself. Then send me a message to let me know where your inspiration takes you.
Blessings Pip x
