This weeks blog is about frustration and feeling blocked ... I have always been a person who makes decisions easily and takes action. I find something interesting to do, get all inspired about it and then throw myself into the doing.
Over the years I have discovered that this is not something everyone does. Some people really struggle with step one ... just finding something interesting to do can be difficult. Then if they do find something interesting to do ... they don't know how (or they are scared) to get inspired and take the action steps. So they get frustrated.
Frustration comes up for me when I am trying to do something I believe I SHOULD do. Aha ... yes ... hmmm ... the word SHOULD is very interesting ... so loaded with judgement ...
I should get a job instead of running my own business.
I should have a boyfriend.
I should be friends with all my siblings.
I should lose weight and get healthy.
Blah blah blah ...
And none of those SHOULD statements make me feel good. They are all based on a premise that I am not good enough as I am ... right now. That my decisions thus far have been flawed and bad. And that therefore, I am flawed and bad.
Frustration is fascinating because I was thinking that it usually has an underlying element of fear. Yes ... that's what I said ... fear.
Fear of not being good enough. Fear of being lonely. Fear of change. Fear of the same. Fear of failure. Fear of success. Fear of not getting what we want. Fear of getting what we want (finally). etc. etc.
And so I am going to share with you a 'should-stopping-recipe' ...
change the word 'SHOULD' to 'COULD' ... now you will find that these statements are empowering:
I could get a job instead of running my own business.
I could get a boyfriend.
I could be friends with my siblings.
I could lose weight and get healthy.
And ... IT'S MY CHOICE ...
I know it may seem simplistic ... but taking away the judgement will take away the pain and frustration.
Be kind to yourself my friends.

This week's blog is about how to get to the source of your pain ...
This topic has come up because there is an advertisement on TV for a pain killer that says "get to the source of your back pain" by using that medication. And ... I'll be honest ... it REALLY bugs me! It gets on my goat! It just sticks in my craw!! *grin* Yep ... I get mad!
The reason I get mad is because it is NOT the SOURCE of pain in our lives that is being treated by a pain killer ... it is the SYMPTOMS of the pain.
There is a huge difference between treating the outward symptoms and the true source. I will share a personal story to explain.
I have a niggly, pinching, crunchy left shoulder ... it's been there for about 10 years, on and off. Usually I've noticed that it gets worse when I am stressed or overwhelmed. I have tried many things to relieve it over the years including Massage, Acupuncture, Bowen therapy, Chinese Cupping, and they all worked for a few days.
I know that my physical body is just expressing what my emotional self cannot. I know that my body is holding onto something from my past. Something from 10 years ago - maybe even longer.
I know that the left side of the body is feminine - so it is about an imbalance regarding nurturing and receiving. And I know that shoulder issues (according to Louise Hay) represent taking on too many burdens and responsibilities.
It was only when I started using EFT (tapping)* that I discovered that my personal shoulder pain issue was also related to respect. I noticed that my shoulder gets worse when I am dealing with not honoring myself in some way or respect of others in a work/home/community space.
Now that I have discovered this personal emotional link - I am starting to release the true issue at the source of my shoulder pain. So my physical pain is gradually reducing.
If you are struggling with physical pain, stress, overwhelm, fear, grief, anxiety or any other issue that is limiting you, give me a call and we can try some EFT (tapping)* together.
Here is some more info on tapping: www.thetappingsolution.com
* EFT, otherwise known as Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a type of Meridian Tapping that combines ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology with startling results. Tapping can help people overcome many issues. From pain relief, to healing childhood traumas, to clearing limiting financial beliefs, to weight loss, body image and food cravings, to fears and phobias, Tapping is proving to be a powerful, well-researched and easy to learn and apply technique.
This weeks blog is about the moon ... We don't think that the energy of the moon really affects us that much. But I always notice that when the kids, the residents at the nursing homes and the very sensitive people start to behave in more manic ways ... it is usually around the full moon.
Susan Miller (has a great astrology website - details below) says:
"The moon drives your deepest feelings, the fine-tuning of your character, your instinct and intuition, your emotions, and your reactions. The moon also rules your private life, especially your home. Since the moon is feminine in nature, it rules your mother and how you perceive her, and does the same for any other important females in your life, including your wife, girlfriend, or a female boss, your grandmother, girlfriend or wife."
So, at the full moon these issues are amplified. Have you have been having issues with your feminine side or a female in your life (or more than one) during this Easter break?
My best advice at this time is to take EXTRA SPECIAL CARE of yourself.
Be kind when you are feeling sensitive or snappy. Eat well. Sleep lots. Meditate. Drink lots of water (add some crystals for an extra vibrational boost - see picture below). Get yourself a space clearing spray (like the Australian Bush Flower Essence - see picture below - LOVE IT!). Get out in nature and walk/ride/swim - it will help you stay calm. Carry a smokey quartz crystal or jasper to stay grounded and let go of negative energy.
And (by the way) get out all your crystals to clear them in the full moon light. They will adore it.
Blessings and take care.

This week's blog is about how it feels like time is flying by ...
I remember as a child feeling like the summer holidays went on forever and the bus ride to school took ages and the drive to my grandparent's house felt like an eternity ... but now that I am older, time seems to go by in a flash! Do you feel that way? ...
A few years ago I listened to a wonderful presentation about the Mayan Calendar and how it's creators (the Mayan people from Mexico & Guatemala*) had predicted significant events in history, as well as explaining the phenomenon of 'time acceleration'. It helped me to understand why many of us are feeling that time is speeding up.
It is all about our energy vibration raising to a higher level. As we all become more conscious (collectively, as a society), our vibrational frequency has risen - it's estimated to be 400 times faster now than at the beginning. The beginning being the 'big bang' that started our whole universe billions of years ago. No wonder we feel like time is racing.
I believe this is why more people around the world are using meditation, yoga and other relaxation methods. They help us to stay calm, reduce overwhelm, and re-balance our energy. These skills are now necessary to stay healthy and survive into the future.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or feel the need to slow down ... you might want to try some simple relaxation methods. Feel free to contact me on 0437670820.

* NOTE: The Maya Empire, centred in the tropical lowlands of what is now Guatemala, reached the peak of its power and influence around the sixth century A.D. The Maya excelled at agriculture, pottery, hieroglyph writing, calendar-making and mathematics, and left behind an astonishing amount of impressive architecture and symbolic artwork. Most of the great stone cities of the Maya were abandoned by A.D. 900, however, and since the 19th century scholars have debated what might have caused this dramatic decline.
* "The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness"
by Carl Johan Calleman - Published 2004
The prophetic Mayan calendar is not keyed to the movement of planetary bodies. Instead, it functions as a metaphysical map of the evolution of consciousness and records how spiritual time flows--providing a new science of time. The calendar is associated with nine creation cycles, which represent nine levels of consciousness or Underworlds on the Mayan cosmic pyramid. Through empirical research Calleman shows how this pyramidal structure of the development of consciousness can explain things as disparate as the common origin of world religions and the modern complaint that time seems to be moving faster. Time, in fact, is speeding up as we transition from the materialist Planetary Underworld of time that governs us today to a new and higher frequency of consciousness--the Galactic Underworld--in preparation for the final Universal level of conscious enlightenment. Calleman reveals how the Mayan calendar is a spiritual device that enables a greater understanding of the nature of conscious evolution throughout human history and the concrete steps we can take to align ourselves with this growth toward enlightenment.

This week's blog is about fear ... I just had a week where I needed to manage my thoughts carefully. I had a specialist appointment on Friday that I was trying not to worry about all week. *grin*
Of course, I followed my intuition every day ... I meditated, I walked, I rode my bike and I listened to Hay House Radio to keep my energy vibration high. But I was still feeling anxious.
Then I heard Anita Moorjani speaking to a caller on the radio - the woman was having to go to the hospital every 2 weeks for treatment and her life was revolving around her illness. Anita gave some wonderful advice.
She said 'Don't make that treatment the ONLY thing you focus on for the day. Fill up your day with fun, joy, laughter, friends, and love. Make sure that the good energy outweighs the lower energy. Your living WITH your condition / illness / dis-ease NOT FOR IT.' She said 'Love dissolves fear.'
I LOVE THAT!!!! Give yourself more energy than the condition.
It reminded me that the Dalai Lama says that we need to separate our emotions, illnesses, and dis-ease in our lives from our true self.
It is important to not making that lower emotion, illness or dis-ease WHO YOU ARE. When we say 'I am afraid' ... 'I am Diabetic' ... 'I am depressed'... etc... that emotion, illness or dis-ease becomes a part of you. Your identity. Your personality. Your self.
The Dalai Lama suggests that when we speak and think like this it is very hard to release / dissolve / let go of those lower emotions, illnesses and dis-ease in our lives. Our words are very powerful.
So, the remedy is to use words that separate the lower emotion, illness or dis-ease from ourselves ... for example: 'I am with fear' ... 'I am with depression' ... ' I am with Chronic Fatigue' ... gives us some perspective.
Our true self is perfect, whole, complete and healed. When we are unwell it is because we have cut ourselves off from the flow of Source energy.
And so, on Friday I filled up my day with joy, love, laughter and fun!
I went to the movies and saw 'The Smurfs - the lost village'.
I went op-shopping and bought lots of colourful clothing.
I met my gorgeous sister for a chat (and she bought me a coffee and a pink macaroon - as a surprise after my appointment).
I had a lovely afternoon at work @ Island Healing Day Spa.
And I made myself a delicious meal of roast chicken and veggies ... with a couple of Rum and Coke drinks - as a treat!
All in all ... a really lovely day.
