Week 30 - You're still becoming ... all is well.

Today I had an ‘Aha moment‘. 
​It’s still becoming 💕 ... my creation, my goals, my business, my book, my life.

I am an ever-evolving being.

We are never done.

Sometimes I put so much pressure on myself to be ‘done’ or ‘complete’.
Or I wonder why I’m not feel as satisfied with my latest goal.

And today I remembered that when you think you have finished manifesting a goal, there is always a new goal to move on to.
So ... it makes sense that you begin to feel disappointed or dissatisfied a little while after your goal is achieved ... it’s old.

The new is coming.

The new is becoming.

So, when you are feeling ‘meh’ ... remind yourself "it’s okay - I’m still becoming."
When you are discontented ... remind yourself "it’s okay - I’m still becoming."
When you are frustrated ... remind yourself " it’s okay - I’m still becoming."

When we focus on the NOW ... that’s actually the past goal manifested.
Ahhhhhhhh.
Can you feel the relief in that knowing?
Can you sit with that for a minute.

And once you are okay with the that Truth you can start to feel better.
And in the feeling better you move forward into the new becoming. 

What a revelation.
Now I’m excited ...
If this ... NOW ... is not the end ... Oooooo what’s NEXT?

Week 29 - Do you feel like the world is out of control?

Are you feeling like the world is completely 'cray cray' at the moment?

When I opened up my emails today, I saw that one of my favourite mentors, Cheryl Richardson, had written a very short blog ... and it expressed exactly how I was feeling, as well as a lot of my clients / students too. 
So, I'm sharing it below: 

"Last night I went to bed feeling anxious for the world. This morning, I woke remembering who I am.
I sat up, opened my journal to the last page, and read a note I wrote to myself a few months ago. 
Please feel free to steal this.


Sweetheart,

When you feel hopeless, frightened, or like the world is out of control, remember:

No one can influence how you feel inside without your permission.

You can choose to listen to the insanity of your frightened mind (which is well-trained to convince you that you’re at the mercy of what’s happening outside of you), or you can choose to continue working toward a PhD in Peace. Train your mind to be quiet.  

You have more control over your health than the media would have you believe. You choose what you eat, how frequently you move your body, how lovingly you speak to yourself, and what you will and will not allow into your eyes and ears. Be very, very picky.

Rather than contribute to conflict and hostility with your thoughts, words, or actions, be generous and loving.  Surprise people with unexpected acts of kindness. Do this every single day. It feels wonderful.  

When in doubt, get outside. Walk upright. Breathe deep. Drink in your surroundings. Travel the well-worn path around the neighborhood where frogs croak their hellos from nearby ponds, Monarch butterflies delight you with their beauty, and the fertile, damp scent of dirt and roots carry you back to earth. 

Keep in mind, sweetheart, you’re sitting on a planet, spinning in the middle of vast, empty space. You’re here and you’re gone in the blink of an eye. 

Make it count.

I hope that reading this gives you the soothing, calming feeling that it gave me. 
You are not alone.
You are a powerful, infinite, divine being. 

I would like to suggest that you write or print this out and then read it as a meditation or prayer for the next 7 days. And if you are a Reiki Level One, Two or Three practitioner, you could also give Reiki energy healing to yourself (and send it to the world) at the same time. 
You have the power in your hands (literally).

Week 28 - To survive you NEED to be selfish!

As the crowds disappeared from the island this weekend, we all took a breath.
“It’s been the busiest winter school holidays Ever!” ... is what I've heard from the community for the past few weeks.

I have stuck to my usual routine of riding my bike, running my business, zooming with family and staying close to home. 
But even with my minor interactions outside of the home, I’ve been feeling a desire to spend more time alone.

Today the birds are chirping, the sun is out and the cars are few. 
I’m enjoying the less frantic energy.
I’m embracing the stillness.
I’m settling in for a restful winter. 

I’m glad we have this season (in Oz) right now ...
It’s a time for napping, hot drinks, dreaming, baths and doing our inner Self discovery work. Perfect. 

If you’d like some ideas of how to embrace the winter season ... let’s start with these 3 tips: 

1. Journaling / writing 
2. Dreaming (day & night) 
3. Self care

Journalling 
Writing is such a great way to get out any frustrations AND is a fantastic way to develop ideas and goals. 
Take a trip to your local gift shop or go online and buy yourself a beautiful journal.

Write the good, the bad, the insanity and the joyful magic that lives in your heart. It doesn’t have to be perfect. 
It’s about expression and letting the words and images flow out. 
Imagination is okay. Truth is okay. 
It could be words, poems, memories, images, cartoons, or songs ... 
There are no limits. 
This is your creative space. 
This is a spiritual place to be. 

Dreaming 
I like to use my Yoga and meditation time to dream .. as well as my sleep dreaming, of course.
I also dream when I ride my bike or swim or walk. 
Dreaming is what I think of as an active form of spiritual connection. 
You might dream of goals you’d like to achieve or people you’d like to meet. 
You might dream of past lives.
You might dream of people who you love (past, present or future).
Dreaming is important to stretch yourself out of your comfort zone. 
And it’s important to consolidate your personal desires. 
Sitting in your garden and dreaming of abundant vegetables or radiant flowers is good practice for manifesting. 
Big or small dreams are the same in vibrational truth. 
Enjoy your dreaming time. 

Self-Care 
I was quoting to a friend the other day, that: “You are responsible for 100% of 50% of your relationships” ...
And it reminded me that this means you are 100% responsible for yourself. 
And if that is true then you must take care of you.
No one else can do it as well as you. 
You are the expert on you. 
You know exactly what you need. 
You know exactly how you like things. 
& 
You know exactly when to give it. 
Why would you look outside of yourself? 
Well, I know I’ve been told (from my teachers, family, television and culture) that I’m supposed to find someone who ‘completes’ me. 
And there are thousands of ways we are told NOT to take care of ourselves because it’s selfish ... 

So if you hear nothing else today ... Hear this ...
You have my permission (not that you need it) ... YOU are supposed to be selfish!
To survive you NEED to be selfish (and not just during this time in the world). 
You are a super-selfish Being that deeply deserves to be taken care of BY YOU. 
Dive in, honor and get comfortable with taking care of yourself. 

The truth is ... There is no one more perfect than YOU to take care of you. 

May your time alone be blissful this winter.

Week 27 - I'm not worthy (a conversation with my Soul)

I took a break this Monday and Tuesday, to rest.
I didn’t look at my Facebook or my Messenger.
I didn’t read my emails.
I didn’t write my blog.
I didn’t open my computer.

Ohhhhhhh but it was a challenge!

Anyone who runs their own business knows how hard it is to NOT think about your business.

Can you see me reaching for my phone and then going ‘no Pip you are resting.’
I made sure not to yell or chastise myself, if I wanted to look at the messages.
That’s taken me YEARS to refine.

In the beginning (and still sometimes) I would not only feel guilty for not doing the work ... or not reading the messages ... or even just having a day off ... I’d ALSO feel guilty for feeling guilty.

Double whammy! Ouch!

I’d say to myself - “Stop it! You’re supposed to be a spiritual person now. A teacher. A mentor. A coach. A healer. You’re not ALLOWED  to feel bad or guilty or anxious. You have tools! Why are you not using the tools?! You are terrible at being spiritual... You should feel ashamed. You are NOT worthy of your new life and business status.”

Oh wow! Even now as I write this I can feel the pain of those thoughts and words ... my stomach hurts and my heart feels heavy.

Why do we speak to ourselves like that?

And I am curious ... Who is the voice speaking?

Not my Soul ... that’s for damn sure!!
No way would my Soul or Inner being say that to me.

So I guess it’s my small self (as Colette Baron Reid calls it) ... the part of me that’s trying to keep me safe and survive.

I mean, it has strong arguments ... It says: "If you rest you can’t make money. If you have no money you can’t pay your bills. If you don’t pay your bills you will lose your house (business, family, etc). If you lose your business and family you will lose your hope. And if you lose your hope ... well you’ll die."

So, of course we listen to that argument. Right?

If taking a day off to rest leads “logically” to DEATH ... holy moly don’t do that.

And then I hear my Soul say quietly ...
"Ah hum ... excuse me Pip ... Is death so bad?
I mean, you’ve read lots of books and heard lots of speakers and teachers talk about dying and it actually sounds amazing. It's a going ‘home’ experience. 
A realigning if your true energy with Source. A loving and peaceful Space.
A Deep letting go and surrender.
A great exhale that you Sink into with joy like a soft downy bed."


"Hmmmm" ... my small self pauses.

My Soul continues ...
"What if taking a day of rest is like a prelude or a moving meditation of what that death experience is."

"Okaaaaay ...?" my small self frowns.

My Soul says:
"What if allowing yourself to chill out is a wonderful gift. A present to yourself."

"It sounds good... but .who are YOU to say that? "
my small self always has more arguments.

And my Soul says ...

"Pip ... close your eyes and let me soothe you for a moment.

What if You deserve to rest?

What if you are worthy of that?

What if you actually move into a space similar to the ultimate realignment by resting?

What if you will be more happy then?

What if the resting helps your life be better?

What if the key to life is MORE rest!?

What if you did EQUAL resting and working ...

What if in the resting you get healthier, stronger, Lighter and more ideas?

What if you actually KNOW more from that place?

What if you actually are more productive and will make more money from a place of rest?"



Now my Soul is Getting my small self’s attention.

"Really? Abundance from a place of REST!?? WTF!?! ... Go on ... " my small self says.

My Soul says: 

"What if the act of resting equally to working creates a perfect balance of energy in your life.

Giving and receiving.

And then the energies of your life would balance out in all areas.

Work & Play.

Not one or the other.

In flow and out flow - like the tides.

Sunrise and sunset.

Breath in and out.

The earth is balanced in this way.

We are part of the earth.

It’s the same with us."


My small self takes a breath and begins to feel soothed.

"Part of the earth. Okay. That makes a sense. Maybe resting would be nice.
As long as we work too. We can’t just rest all the time."


My Soul smiles.
"Of course, now let’s go for a walk on the beach. Or a nap. You like naps."

My small self smiles too.
"Okay ... I do like naps."

So, my friend, I wonder what your Soul would say to your small self.
