This week's blog is all about angels ... did you know that everyone has guardian angels? Do you know how to talk to your angels?
I realized this morning that I did the Advanced Angel Intuitive course, with Doreen Virtue, 10 years ago! What an amazing, life changing decision that was.
I was open to the possibility of angels but it was not something that I ever really thought about doing as my business. So, when I did the exercises to ask my angels' names, ask them questions about my health, life purpose and relationships, and then got replies ... it was more than I expected.
I got an overwhelming feeling of peace that I hadn't felt before.
I got confirmation that I was on the right path.
I was reminded to trust and know that I am always safe.
I got specific guidance about food to eat and exercise to do.
I even got some insight into my grandmother's dementia and how the family could handle it.
If you would like to explore the possibilities of angels and how they can help you in your life - here are some tips:
1. Just before you go to sleep (or as you are waking up) is a good time to ask for angel advice - you are more open and ready to receive messages.
2. Going out in nature is a great way to connect with your angels. They are easier to hear when you are relaxed, calm and breathing fresh air.
3. You could also do a meditation and call in your angels to join you. You'll know you have connected to your angels when you feel a particular sensation in your body, hear a loving voice, or perhaps you will see your angels in your mind.
Remember to ask ... then wait for the reply. They are waiting to help you.
You are ALWAYS receiving messages from your angels, but are you really listening to the replies?
How to talk to your Guardian Angels - 5 week course - starts on the 29th August in Wonthaggi. Call me with any questions or to book.
This weeks blog is about our thoughts creating our reality .... have you ever wished or prayed or sent out a declaration to the Universe for something? Did it come to you? I ask for things all the time but sometimes they don't come ... and I wonder why.
I decided this week to re-read 'The Secret' ... have you read it? ... seriously it's a game changer!
About 6 years ago I was introduced the movie of the 'The Secret' and it was one of my 'AHA moments'. The concept that what we focus on manifests in our life was something that I had heard before.
Think positive and you get positive right? It made so much sense.
But when I saw it presented in this way with doctors, physicists, religious leaders, authors and teachers from around the world saying that it's actually a Universal Law.
It is an energetic, universal law (like gravity) ... that you amplify what you put your attention on. You become a magnet for all things you pay most attention to. So, if you focus on all the bad stuff that is happening in your life (or the world), you will see and get MORE BAD stuff.
Well ... now ... THAT just resonated deep in my soul. I got it.
Because that means ... if you focus on all the good stuff that is happening in your life (and the world) then you will see and get MORE GOOD stuff. Wow! How could that change YOUR life and how you are living it?
Ask yourself ... am I focusing on the good stuff or the bad stuff?
Am I amplifying things I WANT in my life or things I DON'T want?
Am I being a 'crap magnet' or a 'joy magnet'?
And the answers will be in the the exact way that your life is right now.
The good news is ... that you CAN CHANGE it ... Yay!!!
By deliberately choosing to focus on and talking about and thinking about all the things you love in your life, all the things you are grateful for in your life, all the things you are happy about in your life, all the things you love to do and all the things that you would like to have in your life ... MORE than the other things.
Here is a good tip ... when you are talking about the good things EXPAND the story ... make it bigger and more elaborate. When you are talking about the bad things MINIMIZE the story ... make it quick, small and less detailed. This really helped me to stay on track.
It might take some practise ... we are very good at focusing on the bad stuff. It might have been 50 or 60 years of focusing. I get it.
But truth is ... do you want to keep creating the life you have or do you want a more joyful, happy, peaceful, abundant life?
Spend MORE time focusing on good than the bad.
Simple as that.
I am reminding myself to practise this too ...
Let's see how we go!
This week's blog is part two of last week about taking time out for yourself to recharge, revive and relax ... sooooooo ... did you give yourself any time out this week? ... hmm? ... well ... I promised I would give you and update on my mini-break to the Gold Coast.
Aside from the 23 degree days with sunshine, drinking wine and eating good food and the fact that I didn't have to work for 5 days ... it turns out that this mini-break helped remind me of a couple of really good tips for my life in general:
1. How to say no when you are having time out - I got 4 phone calls on the first day from new clients asking to make bookings. At first I was a bit anxious about not being able to accommodate them, but I remembered that I promised myself (and my business coach and my sister) that I would have a proper break.
So I sent them all a polite text saying: "Thank you for your call. I am currently on holiday in Queensland. I have appointment times available and classes from Monday 14/8. I will call you back when I return. Pip."
Interestingly, everyone responded in different ways. One lady did not reply to my text at all. One lady said "sorry to interrupt your holiday I will come to class on Monday 14/8". One lady said "Thank you for your reply I will book in on Tuesday 15/8 - and reconfirm next week when you return." And one lady called me again 2 days later and hung up when I did not answer. It will be interesting to see what everyone does when I call them on Monday to follow up.
So, the world did not end. My business did not go under. Life still went merrily on it's way. Saying 'no' was the most LIBERATING thing that I have done in a long time. You might like to try it too. :-)
2. I remembered how much I love swimming! I promised myself that I would do a daily swim in the hotel pool - even if it was just 10 minutes of treading water and a few laps around the edge. *Note it was a kinda square shaped pool with a water slide for the kids at one end.
Ahhhhh yes my friends, I really, really love swimming ... and I just have not been making time to do it on a regular basis at home.
I've made myself a commitment to make the time to go and swim (maybe at the Wonthaggi pool) at least once a week ... and gradually increase it ... so that I can have that Mermaid-feeling in my everyday life.
So, the verdict is ... I am a convert. Mini-breaks are great for your mental, emotional and physical well being. You can learn important lessons and remind yourself of things you love. How could you give one to yourself.
Blessings Pip xxx
This week's blog is about time out ... not the type that you give your kids when they punch their sibling ... the type that you give yourself. *grin*
Do you give yourself time out?
Well ... be honest ... do you?
I am about to go on a 'mini-time-out' of 5 days to QLD.
Now ... this is unusual for me.
Normally I am the sort of person who goes on holiday for months at a time. Travelling to different countries and going where the wind takes me ... I've never really done the 'just take 5 days and chill out' kind of break.
I am curious to see if this will work.
Will it be enough time to unwind?
Will it be far enough away from Phillip Island to feel like a holiday?
I suspect the answer is yes ... people do this all the time. Right?
So, I am testing the theory that any break is better than no break.
I mean even a nice long bath, a quiet glass of wine or brunch at your favourite cafe can be enough to lift and rejuvenate.
I will report back next week.
