Yesterday I finished reading the Mary Magdalene Revealed (by Meggan Watterson) and I felt ... everything ... I felt amazing ...
I felt completely emotionally opened up.
Then as I had my morning shower I was thinking about how my new book (Finding my Soul at Sea) needed a dedication in the front.
It came to me that Mary M had the inspiration and a quote that would marry perfectly with my intention.
And this is what came through me ...
My Book Dedication
To all the women ... on board cruise ships ... and all around the world ...
If you’ve ever felt that your story, your opinion or your life has not been fully expressed.
You are worthy.
You are divine.
You are important.
You deserve happiness.
You deserve love.
As Meggan Watterson says in the book:
“I’m ready for ... a Mary that is both, like the voice in The Thunder, Perfect Mind: ‘I am the whore, and the holy woman. I am the wife and the virgin.’ ...” (p177)
You need to embrace ALL aspects of who you are to be fully authentic.
This statement is my book, my business and my life ‘why’ expressed.
And as I wrote it and then read it out-loud I cried ...
I thought 'Yep this is perfect.'
Why has this women who lived in the 1st century affected me so deeply?
Well, firstly, it’s perfect timing for me to learn the lessons from her gospel ...
I need to hear about the seven powers she talks about embracing.
I need to hear that I am fully divine AND fully human.
I need to hear that my heart is my true spiritual centre.
I need to hear there is no sin.
I need to hear that Mary and Jesus were the ultimate divine couple. They took love and relationships to the highest level.
I needed to be reminded that these truths had been hidden from me for centuries. And now it’s time to for them to come to light.
The world is ready.
I AM READY.
And if you are reading this ...
You are ready too.
And today as I lay in shavasana at the end of my yoga class ...
I asked Mary for guidance.
And I ‘heard’ ... in my head and heart ...
I am here.
I am here.
I am here.
Just like the PINK song that Meggan danced to when she connected with Mary’s energy at a retreat in the book.
Oh ... and I LOVE PINK too!
Of course, she is connected to Mary’s story.
So, I ask you to consider this week ...
Are you truly here?
Are you authentic?
Are you now curious to read Mary Magdalene Revealed - the first apostle, her feminist gospel and the Christianity we haven’t tried yet?
We are discussing it at Spiritual Book Club on Thursday 29th Aug @10am.
Don’t worry if you’ve not read the book yet. You are welcome to come along and just let listen or join in the conversation.

This week’s blog is about freaking out!!!
I’ve just had a lovely morning doing transformational yoga, then having coffee with a friend and now I am sitting down to write my blog ... but inside I’m FREAKING OUT!!!
I have to be honest with you.
I wouldn’t be walking my talk if I didn’t.
My bills are 100% more than my income this week!!!
I tried to distract myself.
It didn’t work.
I tried to do some creative accounting.
It didn’t work.
I tried going to yoga ...
I thought about it for the whole class.
So, I asked Mary Magdalene ‘what should I do?’
And I heard ‘do nothing’
And I replied (in my head) ‘what?! Nothing at all? Really? Nothing?’
And I heard ‘yes. Nothing.’
Then I sent a text to my sister and told her what I heard.
She said ‘Myeah! Exactly! Sometimes nothing is exactly what's required!!’
And I said ‘oh ... that’s ... I don't know ... I'm not sure I know how to do that.’
And I realised in that moment ... I really DON’T know how to do that.
I know how to watch tv and veg-out.
I know how to read a book and let my imagination take me away.
I know how to ride my bike and get energy.
I know how to listen to a positive podcast.
But truth is ... I don’t know how to just DO Nothing.
More to the point ... can I?
I believe Mary (and my sister) are referring not just to the action of doing nothing (stopping does relieve the pressure to fix or be responsible and it can take away the pain of the situation) ... but also there is doing nothing about the judgement and criticism of doing nothing.
I usually try to do nothing and then find myself in a struggle with my ego about being 'useful' and 'productive' and 'worthy' ... there is a voice that says 'can't sit around here all day' ... and so my beautiful, blissful, magical doing nothing gets hijacked by guilt.
So, I feel there is some more 'Mary love' (and Pip love) that needs to happen.
I’m currently reading Meggan Watterson’s book ‘Mary Magdalene Revealed - the first apostle, her feminist gospel and the Christianity we haven’t tried yet’.
Wow! I mean ... seriously wow!
It’s like this book was written for me.
It’s opening and healing my heart in ways I didn’t even know it needed to be opened and healed.
You know you’ve found a portal to transformation when you can’t stop reading right?
Meggan explains the how and why of Mary’s story better than I can ... but I’ll share with you my revelations regarding doing nothing (since it’s coming up).
Mary says in her gospel that the main reason we are here (as humans) is to remember that we are divine AND human, so that we can connect with own deep wisdom and be truly enlightened. We don’t need to look outside ourselves to be saved.
She (and the other apostles) write that she worked through (healed of) seven human issues (powers), connected with her own heart wisdom, then helped Jesus to teach by becoming an example of how we can all transform and live an enlightened life of love.
I feel like I’m on an internal pilgrimage with her as I read this book.
I've always known that Mary has been misrepresented... but I never truly understood how much it would be relevant to me (and all of the world) until now.
In our world, we can be chaotic, separated, messy and disconnected ... and it feels like it’s time to open up and heal our hearts.
We need to DO less and BE more loving.
I believe that Mary’s gospel is the answer that we are all seeking.
So, I hear you say “what will you do about your bills this week, Pip?”
I’ll be kind to myself.
I’ll be honest.
I’ll consider what’s really important.
I’ll be asking for help / time / support.
I’ll be taking care of myself first.
Blessings Pip x
This week’s blog is about power of dreams.
I woke up today and remembered that I was dreaming about repairing my relationship with my brother.
The scene was set in an old family home but we were all adults.
My sisters and I were there having an intense discussion with my brother.
At one point I said something like “Ohhh you’re being such a Dick!” ...
And then everyone took a breath ... we paused ... and I said ...
“That's not fair ... I know we're all hurting right now. Let’s sit down and talk. We can work through this together.”
I woke up feeling good.
It felt like I'd shifted something.
It was healthy for us to come together - even though it was in my dream.
Maybe one day it’ll be in reality too.
Dreams can help us subconsciously sort, let go, understand, prepare and dissolve issues.
Leon Naccson says that dreams can be interpreted best by ourselves.
Using a book with someone else’s interpretations will not get to the heart of your unique dream message.
He suggests looking at these 3 things:
1. Feeling of the dream
2. Theme of the dream
3. Symbols in dreams
Your feelings will indicate what emotional are being healed.
Your theme will show you what mental construct is being sorted.
Your symbols will show you what you can do to dissolve the negativity and raise the vibration.
For example ... in my dream the feeling was anger in the beginning, but then it shifted to love and relief.
The theme was a desire to reconcile.
Then there was symbol later in the dream of a very dirty spa with green algae in it.
I’ve been ‘swimming in murky water’ and need to cleanse it.
You can also set your intention to dream about a particular situation or problem before you go to bed.
Say to yourself as you fall asleep ...
‘Tonight, I will dream about (the issue you have) and I’ll remember anything that will help me to resolve it in a healthy way.’
Have a pen & paper or a dream journal near the bed.
Be sure to write down any impressions, or feelings, or insights as soon as you wake up.
This week’s blog is about resistance.
I’ve had some conversations recently with clients and family, about things that they see are not working in their life.
But some of those people don’t want to change - even if it will make their lives better, easier, more peaceful.
So, my question is why?
I figure that there are hundreds of reasons - depending on the person.
Well ... let’s brainstorm ...
Why have I said it?
The main reasons are:
1. Comfort in the discomfort of the known - some call this ‘better the devil you know’.
2. Need to control the situation to feel empowered - ‘no one will tell me what to do’.
3. The unknown is overwhelming - there are too many possibilities to consider.
4. A belief that there’s a competition in all interactions - 'if I change they win and I lose'.
5. A desire to protect yourself - we don’t want to be hurt. Particularly if we’ve been hurt before in a similar situation.
6. Tired - belief that it will be too much hard work to change.
I’m sure there are more ... but let’s stop at six ... and point out that (so far) all these reasons are coming from a fearful space.
Rarely do we say: ‘no I don’t want to change ... because I’m so confident, happy, peaceful and comfortable with me and my life, that I don’t need to change.’
So I’ll give you a tip ... the key to this is the feeling.
Do you feel calm, peaceful, happy and confident when you say ‘no I don’t want to change!’
Or do you feel unsettled, angry, unsure, or defiant when you say ‘no I don’t want to change!’
Our emotional guidance system is tuned in and switched on all the time ... to show us exactly where we are.
Now, I’m not saying you should do anything that makes you uncomfortable, scared or puts you in danger.
However, I am asking you to check in.
As I check in, I like to use Reiki energy healing on myself ... (did you know you can use Reiki to heal, balance, calm and centre yourself?).
It allows me to relax enough to see clearly what’s going on within me.
If you are saying or doing things totally unconsciously and then wondering why your life is not working ... maybe it’s time to take a closer look and be honest with yourself.
Step 1 - Awareness is the key to growth.
Step 2 - Learn new skills to assist you.
You deserve to be happy and peaceful.
