Lighthouse or Shoreline? Why Sea Change Society Has Two Circles š

When I created Sea Change Society, I knew I wanted to offer both an online circle and an in-person circle.
Initially, I thought they might simply be two different ways of accessing the same experience.
But now that we've held our first Lighthouse Circle online and our first Shoreline CircleĀ in person, I've realised something.
They have two quite different energies.
And I love them both.
šĀ The Lighthouse Circle ā Looking Inward
Our Lighthouse CircleĀ is held online.
Think of the lighthouse as your inner light ā the part of you that can still guide you when you can't quite see where you're going.
This is where we explore intuition, spirituality, soul wisdom and some of life's bigger questions.
Our first Lighthouse Circle explored intuition and the clairsĀ ā clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, claircognizance, clairalience and clairgustance.
We talked about the different ways our intuition communicates with us.
We meditated.
We journalled.
We listened.
And perhaps most importantly, we practised trusting what came through.
The question at the heart of the Lighthouse Circle is:
What is my soul telling me?
You can join from anywhere, make yourself a cup of tea, light a candle, grab your journal and settle in.
It's a chance to turn down the volume of the outside world for a little while and listen to what's happening inside.
šĀ The Shoreline Circle ā Bringing It Back Into the Body
The Shoreline CircleĀ is our in-person gathering.
And this one feels different.
If Lighthouse is about listening for your inner wisdom, Shoreline is about bringing that wisdom back into your body and your everyday life.
At our first Shoreline Circle, we explored energy preservation and nervous system reset.
We talked about where our energy goes.
What we're carrying.
What belongs to us.
And, importantly, what doesn't.
One of my favourite reminders from the circle was:
I can care without carrying.
We explored simple ways of coming back to ourselves when life, work, relationships, social media and the wider world start pulling us in a hundred different directions.
The question at the heart of Shoreline is:
How do I bring my wisdom into the way I actually live?
It's grounding.
Embodied.
Human.
And because we're physically together, there's something rather lovely about sitting in a room with other women, sharing stories and remembering that we're not navigating all of this alone.
šĀ Lighthouse + š Shoreline
And this is where I've realised the magic happens.
They aren't two versions of the same circle.
They complement one another.
The Lighthouse helps you hear.
The Shoreline helps you embody.
The Lighthouse asks:
What do I know?
The Shoreline asks:
What am I going to do with what I know?
One takes us inward.
The other brings us gently back into our bodies, our relationships and our lives.
And both are needed.
Because spiritual wisdom is lovely.
But eventually we have to bring it home.
You Don't Have to Choose
As a member of Sea Change Society, you're welcome to attend both circles.
You might find you naturally gravitate towards one more than the other.
That's completely okay.
Some months you may need the depth and spiritual exploration of Lighthouse.
Other months you may desperately need to come back to Shoreline, breathe, ground yourself and sit with other women who understand.
And sometimes you'll want both.
There's no perfect way to do Sea Change Society.
You simply come as you are.
Why Circles?
Because I think women are craving spaces where we can talk about things that don't always fit into everyday conversation.
Purpose.
Intuition.
Ageing.
Identity.
Energy.
Spirituality.
Relationships.
The strange signs and synchronicities that make you wonder whether the Universe is trying to get your attention.
The big questions.
And the beautifully ordinary ones.
You don't have to have the answers.
You don't have to be particularly "spiritual."
And you definitely don't have to have your life sorted out.
You just need to be curious.
So whether you're sitting in the glow of the Lighthouse or meeting us at the Shoreline...
there's a place for you here.
Come as you are.
We'll navigate the rest together. šš
Love, Pip xx
